Discord currently lists 20 MB for Free, 50 MB for Nitro Basic and up to 500 MB for Nitro. It also experiments with limits, so use the limit shown in your app if it differs. The selected preset is a maximum, not a request to enlarge a smaller clip.
Those smaller targets still work, but they are not the current published Free ceiling. Open Full controls or a dedicated size page for a smaller limit. Keep more room for fast-moving gameplay by lowering resolution before selecting an extremely small target.
You can compress an eligible video below the Free limit instead. A Discord subscription only changes Discord limits; it does not change your SizeVideo account.
Encoding to a maximum above 200 MB requires SizeVideo Premium. If the original already fits and needs no changes, you can download it without uploading.
Yes. Full controls opens the normal size ruler, custom maximum, resolution, frame rate and audio settings. Switching controls keeps the selected file. Presets set a maximum; the actual result can be smaller.
No. Very small targets can be unsuitable or fail for a long or detailed clip. Read the advice, try lower resolution or choose a larger maximum. Compression does not trim video or bypass a destination’s content and account rules.
